Eita Tanaka is a high school student who lives in the town of Misaki City. He is a quiet and reserved person who does not have many friends. One day, he meets a girl named Shana who is a "Flame Haze" and is fighting a "Gandharva". Eita is drawn into Shana's world and learns about the war between the Flame Haze and the Gandharvas. He also learns about his own past and the role he plays in the war.
